Need to purchase living rm furniture for a ocean condo rental unit. What fabric would be best for wetsuits?

We are thinking that leather may be a better choice over fabric but really do not have much experience with it. If someone knows of a specific fabric that would best hold up to abuse (as renters can be) - specifically wet bathing suits (both saltwater & Chlorine) please let me know. We would like to make an educated choice before we make this investment.

2. Chlorine will bleach fabric and leather alike, so light colors might be a wise decision A light colored leather may work: it is very durable and can be wiped clean. It will require care to last a long time. No matter what you choose, you should probably cover the seats before sitting anything wet with saltwater or chlorine on them to prevent the inevitable damage. (and possible odor...) Maybe you could get a seat cover for the furniture you buy- something removable that you can wash? :)
