Hey, well i was thinking of getting one of those full wetsuits to swim in, but I have a few questions??? errmmm..... Can u wear nothing underneath them? Can you wear your regular underwear underneath them....or do you wear a swimming suit? Know any good placed to buy them?

Do you wear wetsuits when training for scuba in a pool? I am taking a scuba class this semester at my school. I'm older than the traditional students and definitely don't have the blond hair, stick thin, super tan body that I'm sure the rest of them do. I will probably just drop the class if this is going to be a baywatch episode. So I'm hoping we just wear wetsuits instead of itsybitsy bikinis. Anyone know?

Where can I find a good deal on a WET SUIT? I'm considering buying a wet suit so I can swim year-round in the Jr. Olympic size pool in my townhouse complex. I've never swam in the winter before, because the water's too cold -- I have almost zero fat to insulate my body, plus overly cold water makes my asthma act up. But I really want to keep swimming, especially now that I've developed a nerve-related condition in my leg for which my doctor recommends swimming as one of the best remedies. (Meralgia paresthetica, which I'm sure you've never heard of! LOL) Anyhoo, if I had a wetsuit, the coldness of the winter pool and/or the winter weather would no longer be an issue. Or at least I hope it wouldn't. :) I'm in a bad way financially, so I can't afford to spend a lot of money. Can anyone recommend a place in the Bay Area (Northern California) that sells wetsuits at reasonable prices? What to pack for a week long surfing holiday? The company that organises it provides all the equipment - wetsuits, boards, etc. - practically everything. I have rough idea of what clothes to take. Obviously flip flops, shorts, toothbrush, razor would be a must. But what am I missing? surfing class at the Newport pier in southern california during the month of May? So I'm gonna take a 5session surfing class during May. It meets at the newport pier in the afternoon....surfboards are provided, but no wetsuits....although I wouldn't want to wear someone elses wetsuit anyways....so i was wondering the water temp would be enough to get away with a rashguard...cause rashguards are alot cheaper than wetsuits, and I really don't want to buy one just yet....so...rashguard okay?
